Good thing someone thought about this. our own SJA82 website. nice logo, nice site. Just a thought, our section is Diamond, whats the other name of the other section? Amethyst ba?
Some significant facts about batch 82:
1) We hosted the Jr-Sr prom at the Westin Philippine Plaza Hotel using the Luzon & Visayas ballroom.
2) The batch who gave them the famous “Horror hall” – was copied not never outbeaten – iba ang orig!
3) The aviators, remember the paper planes?
Hope these brings back memories to all of us.
More power to Batch 82.

Thanks, Louie, for the Facts. What I do remember distinctly was the stink bomb which disrupted classes in ALL Levels and tested the Batches’ unity and Mr. Javier’s patience…

3. Gerry Chuidian - July 4, 2007

The aviators, hahaha! I remember, Do you remember who they were?
I know, I was one of them. Hehehehe. The Black Sheep Squadron we were called in the leaflet issue of that month or was it quarter. I remember it was the same group that Mr. Javier was after because of ther zipper incident…

4. Steve - July 10, 2007

What I want to know is who put the huge nails on Mr. Javiers blue VW bettle. Thanks Karissa for reminding me of the infamous stink bomb. Here are the real facts. I don’t think it would matter much now years, or should I say decades later. I still remember vividly when Chili Sanchez approached me that she brought the stink bomb from the fun house. She handed it to me and I told Paul Moran and Mike Balboa of the stink bomb. Paul took it and threw it under the teach’s desk paltform. We all waited for the smell and Salvador Ruivivar stood watch by the door, so myself, Mike, Paul and Bayani de Leon slid the platform back to search for the vial among the trash under the platform(since we used the space under the platform as trashcan). As soon as Mike Balboa saw the vial, he stepped on it. Not two seconds later the whole room stunk and reached Mr Javier’s office. He came running down the hall and made us evacuatethe rooms because of a gas leak from the lab. Not long after that he figure it wasn’t a gas leak and it was from Aquamarine classroom. The best part of the incident after all the smell went away, Mr.Javier came to the class room and offered to give the person a passing grade in US and Oriental History if he would tell who brought the stink bomb. That is a test of our unity. Then the copy cats came after doing during recess(I think that was Noel Tanada’s crowd)

The cat is out of the bag, Steve! :D
I actually do know the story…Aquamarine — now that’s the other section we were in— sat in silence with bated breath as you and the boys were going about making sure the vial, which rolled under the platform, hit the wall or broke.

Well, guess what: Mr. Javier called me to his office, too, in the hope of getting something out of me. No dice. May I say, then: Sorry, sir, I didn’t tell you what I knew then. Somehow, there was something about those years that made us keep the real event to ourselves and not tell it to the officials. ;)
========================
EDIT: 3rd year> Aquamarine / 4th year>Amethyst. Thanks for the clarif!

6. Steve - July 10, 2007

There you go it’s not a secret anymore. If you see Mr. Javier tell him I am sending my apologies.

7. Steve - July 10, 2007

That was on our third year. Our senior years was the Amethyst, Louie is right.

I plead guilty to the crime Mr. Stephen von Erick Eva accurately recollected. May I remind everyone, although I am the principal and actual perpetrator of this incident, you are all my accomplices and in the eyes of the law, we are all criminals, no more . . . no less. Awwwe screw it! Wasn’t that a perfect crime? We got away with it all because nobody twitched and sold out, we were solid and united! Oh yeah!!!
Now that its out in the open, let me confess to another perfect crime. That bomb threat at the new building, Marquez Hall, which prompted Mr. Javier to make us all take the afternoon off was my genius idea. Obviously I pulled it off with a different set of accomplices this time, Mitch Concepcion, Lance Camacho, Jay Salazar, Cho Munchua and Frankie de Leon were my partners in crime.

Steve, are you in the country? Drop me a line bro or call at 0922 TXT TITS. We gotta get together and catch up. That goes for everyone as well.

do you have emailmail ad ng mga girls na classmate natin?Nagkaron na ba kayo ng reunion? thanks

21. leah ibuna - May 9, 2009

Glad to hear old stories. He, he . Hindi ako napaamin ni Mr. Javier. Nice to see your pictures. Stay good always. God bless you more. Mababait na ba kayo ngayon?

22. leah ibuna - May 9, 2009
