Hello World!

Welcome, friends, to the SJA82 site.

I am not going to edit WordPress’ default title because, in essence, it captures the spirit of the site: Hello World!.

This site came about after I received a surprise email from Dante S., currently San Juan (which, just recently, became San Juan City) Councilor serving yet another term. Dante’s mail came on 24 June, in which he reminded me that this is our 25th year since we all left SJA in ‘82, and that he expressed the desire to hold a reunion, or some kind celebration, sometime on the last quarter of 2007. In Dante’s email was included some addresses of those he has so far collated.

This site primarily aims to be the base for all of us to touch on, and to ease the task of those organizing the reunion (no one is yet officially on board as of this post). Right now, everything about the reunion is loose; again, nothing has been set yet. I would like to support Dante’s initiative for a reunion as we have a good 4 months or so to plan it. This site is one such initiative and I hope you will sign up, post your thoughts here, or even mark your spot on the map to the right.

  • I customized the header specifically for this site. Credit goes to the official SJA site for the logo and additional graphics. A link to the SJA site is under the Blogroll list to the right.
  • All registered users shall become contributors to this site. Let’s make our posts our virtual conversations. Help keep the site dynamic. If you wish to be a contributor, please send me an email and I will, in turn send you an invitation. WordPress, just like our YahooGroups, needs each one to be registered in order to activate membership and enable one to be a contributor.

    Our header, the image you see at the top of each page, is revised today. Changes include adding ‘city’ to San Juan City and incorporating an older SJA seal in the background.
